I feel a bit guilty talking about another bike while my Guzzi is immobilized - waiting for the tool I ordered for adjusting the valves. But I am starting to like the Hypermotard a lot. Not from having ridden one, but from what everyone who has ridden it says about it. I've never been a fan of the dual-sport dirt-bike looking rides. I have a heart for the cafe-style street bikes, specifically the custom italian types. But wow would I love a Hypermotard. First thing I'd do is remove the dorked-out handlebar folding mirrors and knuckle guards. Next is to figure out a new front end to get rid of the pointy 'nose' of a fender and stupid looking headlight. Then perhaps open up the dry clutch, hoping they've kept that the same as how my M900 use to sound. That should do it.

Yup, finally got me one. The black S model. And I was told by the dealer this is the last (and only) year of the black color. Next years model has essentially no changes except they're white.
